FS: Sword Guards: Infantry Officer and Naval

Please note the "Naval" sword is actually an Air Force guard that I suspect has been heavily polished. Apologies for the mistake.

    Masks

There are masks with check valves that only filter one way and others masks that filter both ways. He different fabrics help with water droplets - some masks do 99% other 98% other 95% and other's less.  It might not filter a virus particle but it be a barrier to the water droplet that was...

    Masks

And I agree they aren't meant for comfort but if there is a good mask that has filtration, and is comfortable then it will likely work better as the individual is less likely to move it / adjust it / contaminate it.  The fact is the one I was issued is literally just a piece of cloth, the one I...

    Masks

My understanding is that we will have procedure masks available and so the option to purchase a colour appropriate cloth mask on their own is just that, an option.

    Masks

I 100% agree that masks should be supplied to all members and include multiple so they can be washed. That is likely what will happen eventually.

    Masks

We had a few issued to key positions in our unit but not enough for everyone and the ones issued some people have complained they are very uncomfortable. We are authorized by CoC to purchase our own masks but have colour restrictions to CADPAT, Black, OD Green or Tan/FDE. Who makes good...

1 spare guard for an 1897 Infantry Officer sword with EIIR cypher, perfect replacement for any officers whose sword has been damaged or if the regiment's parade sword has seen better days. Pace Stick

I'm looking to replace a pace stick for a friend whose pace stick was stolen. I see on William Scully there is a Racer/Competition stick and a Regulation Ceremonial that is more expensive - what is the difference, other than $150?  Also is it just preference between natural and black or is it...

    Service Battalion Shooter(Drink)

Hi everyone. I'm wondering if anyone has some suggestions for a layered shooter for our Christmas dinner.  Looking for Blue on top, Yellow in the middle and Red on the bottom.  The catch is no one in the unit wants me to use Grenadine (as the shots made in the past used it and are hated by...

    Sword and Belt with DEU

George At the moment there are no other EME officers in my unit, only LOG. Shamrock Have not earned capbadge so I know I wouldn't actually be wearing a belt with the EME crest / doing sword drill anytime soon.  Have some cash on hand right now and was thinking I could put it towards that...

    Sword and Belt with DEU

Hello I am a junior EME Officer.  Was wanting to order a sword, knot, buckle and belt from William Scully just had a couple questions.  In regards to the scabbard does it matter between the leather/stainless steel? In regards to the white belt does it matter between the CF Regulation sword...

Different paths for becoming an officer

Have you looked at a Reserve unit to see if they have DEO positions in what you're looking for? You could also consider joining a reserve unit as an NCM in an armour, artillery or infantry position and then apply into the Reg F as an officer when a spot opens up.

I need some encouragement... or advice... Or both!

^Agreed, I was just accepted into the army reserve last week and I'm 26.  I became interested in joining the reserves just after I turned 25.
